The best BB cream

Perfect, smooth skin in seconds!

This week, before I got on my flight to Dublin, I browsed around the airport Duty Free store and purchased some cosmetics. I decided to try all the samples I could – I collect them! I wanted to find the right BB cream for me… Clarins, Clinique, Dior, Caudalie, Vichy, Dr.Brandt, Agnès B, Iroisie … Finally, I found exactly what I was looking for and two products which are perfect for me: Bobbi Brown BB Cream & L’Oreal Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream! I am delighted!

But what promise has been made to women that has made this cream become so popular in Europe?

Explanation: BB creams or ‘beauty balm’ creams are a product for women who are in rush, like me and you. In a single application this cream provides three effects: coverage, protection and radiance.

My first choice: Perfect for the day time with its natural effect.

Studio Secrets Magic Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream SPF 12, L’Oréal Paris

Why? I chose this product because of its lightweight texture, which is perfect for combination skin like mine. I love the cream’s silky texture with smart-pigments inside – at first you might think it is a scrub- the warmth of your skin causes the beads to mix and the blend into the same colour as your skin resulting in a perfectly natural finish…  like magic!

Result: This cream keeps skin hydrated for 24 hours, the light texture leaves a very natural, non-greasy finish, the coverage is almost like a ‘second skin’ with built in protection from UV rays! Not to forget that all of these effects can be had for the small price of 14 euro. It must be enchanted!

My second choice: Perfect for the evening with its increased coverage.

Bobbi Brown BB cream

Why? First of all, I love this brand and her range of products. Bobbi Brown has created a line of BB creams which are available in five different shades, which adapt perfectly to your skin tone… Furthermore, these creams moisturise, smooth imperfections, reduce fine lines and ensure a perfect finish with SPF35 protection! Super, isn’t it? Price: 34 euros

Where can you buy? Sephora, Printemps, House of Fraser, airports…
